Trips in Term 3

We have had a most enjoyable time visiting Braehead and Paisley Museum to enhance our learning. We visited Braehead on Wednesday 1st March 2017 as part of our World of Work. Bruce Harley the General Manager had attended our Work Cluedo event and so it was very interesting to be able to visit his working environment and find out more about his role. During our tour we got to visit behind the scenes of Intu Braehead. The control room was very interesting with all the cameras watching all part of the shopping centre. This room is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We found out more about the different employment opportunities available at Braehead. We are very grateful to Bruce and Lydia for allowing us to visit.

We also had the opportunity to visit Paisley Museum to enhance our topic on WW2. It was very interesting to read the displays in the museum about how Paisley was affected during WW2. We got to take part in a range of activities where we could explore a range of artefacts (Priamry sources) from the war.
